BEND, Ore., Feb. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CCI Tec announces the TecENTERPRISE Claims Solution providing a comprehensive vision into claims status and processing that decreases manual claims remediation and increases accepted claims.
The TecENTERPRISE Claims presents detailed claims information to allow claims processors and information managers to identify and locate problem claims and patterns. The solution provides executive staff with access to custom key performance indicators (KPIs) and summary reports, so that they can maintain awareness and control anywhere, anytime.
"TecENTERPRISE Claims provides a solution that removes obstacles to successful claims processing," said Devon Cochenour, owner and president of CCI Tec. "This solution helps keep healthcare IT spending down and reduces human interaction and redundancies, so that healthcare organizations can focus resources on improving patient care."
"A critical challenge for health plans is to reduce costs and complexity while attaining a higher degree of member and provider service," said Michael Robinson, general manager, U.S. Health & Life Sciences, Microsoft Corp. "CCI Tec's TecENTERPRISE Claims solution helps enable health plans to leverage existing IT investments to drive business insight into claims processing, reduce costs, and simplify member and provider reporting services."
TecENTERPRISE Claims is a Business Intelligence solution that focuses on healthcare providers and health plans that use the Edifecs XEngine product. Alternative solutions like IBM and SAP are expensive to purchase, implement, and maintain. The TecENTERPRISE Claims Solution offers rich claims reporting, business activity monitoring, and business analytics at a fraction of our competitors' initial and annual costs. The TecENTERPRISE Claims Solution can incorporate an unlimited number of backend data sources like IDX, Epic, and Trizetto—a feature that sets us apart from other solutions.
TecENTERPRISE Claims embeds the OnlyConnect tools by WPC. OnlyConnect incorporates numerous proprietary adapters and accelerators to match legacy data with standard metadata fields and syntax. "The WPC OnlyConnect tools complement the TecENTERPRISE Claims Solution by minimizing the time and expense for application development using a streamlined plug-and-play strategy," says Eric Mueller, WPC Services president.
TecENTERPRISE Claims is built using Microsoft BizTalk Server, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. CCI Tec is demonstrating the solution during the HIMSS conference in Las Vegas. Contact CCI Tec to schedule a private session.
